These Terms & Conditions govern The Glass Truck's 10% Price Beat Guarantee ("Guarantee"). The Guarantee is intended to provide customers with a straightforward opportunity to receive a lower price when they have a current, legitimate, written quote from an eligible competing residential glass replacement business for the same or substantially identical products and services.
Participation in the Guarantee is subject to all terms, eligibility requirements, exclusions, and verification procedures described below.
If a customer provides The Glass Truck with an Eligible Competitor Quote for Comparable Residential Glass Replacement Services, and all requirements contained in these Terms & Conditions are satisfied, The Glass Truck will offer a price that is at least 10% lower than the Eligible Competitor's Comparable Price.
The Guarantee applies only to the products, quantities, specifications, labor, installation services, and other items that can be reasonably verified as comparable between the two proposals.
If a competitor quote does not satisfy the requirements contained in these Terms & Conditions, the Guarantee does not apply, and The Glass Truck may provide its regular pricing for the project.
For purposes of this Guarantee, an "Eligible Competitor" means an independent third-party business that:

The Glass Truck does not represent that an excluded provider is unqualified or incapable of performing glass work. These eligibility requirements exist solely to define which competitive quotes are covered by this promotional Guarantee.
An "Eligible Competitor Quote" must meet all of the following requirements:
Screenshots, emails, PDFs, printed estimates, or comparable electronic documents may be accepted if their authenticity and contents can reasonably be verified.
A verbal price alone does not qualify.
The Guarantee applies only when the competitor's proposal and The Glass Truck's proposal involve substantially the same project, same products, same specifications, and same scope of labor and installation.
The comparison may include, as applicable:
The glass dimensions must be the same or materially identical for the units being compared.
The number of glass units, panes, openings, or other products must be the same.
The glass thickness and overall insulated glass unit thickness must match.
The glass type must match, including where applicable:
Low-E glass must have comparable coating specifications and performance characteristics.
A quote for ordinary clear glass will not be considered comparable to a quote for Low-E glass.
Tinted, bronze, gray, reflective, privacy, decorative, or other specialty glass must be compared with the same or materially equivalent product.
For insulated glass units, the relevant construction must be comparable, including:
Grid pattern, grid style, grid quantity, grid profile, color, and placement must be the same or materially equivalent.
Arches, circles, half-rounds, trapezoids, custom shapes, holes, notches, polished edges, special fabrication, or other custom glass work must be comparable.
The installation method and labor requirements must be substantially the same.
The competitor's proposal must include substantially the same labor required under The Glass Truck's proposal.
This may include:
A lower competitor price resulting from materially less labor does not qualify as a comparable price.
Where the warranty materially affects the price or scope of the service, warranty coverage must also be reasonably comparable.
The comparison must be based on substantially comparable payment terms.
A competitor's cash-only, financing-only, membership, employee, friends-and-family, or otherwise restricted price does not necessarily qualify unless the customer is legitimately eligible for that same price and satisfies the applicable conditions.
If a competitor estimate does not contain enough information to determine the specifications of the glass, materials, labor, installation, quantities, or other material terms, The Glass Truck may request additional documentation before applying the Guarantee.
Acceptable supporting information may include:
If the information necessary to establish comparability cannot reasonably be obtained or verified, the competitor quote is not eligible for the Guarantee.
The 10% price reduction will be calculated against the competitor's Comparable Price.
"Comparable Price" means the competitor's final price for the products, materials, labor, installation, and mandatory charges that directly correspond to the comparable portion of The Glass Truck's proposal.
Government-imposed sales taxes are excluded from the calculation.
If the competitor's quote contains unrelated products or services, only the portion that can reasonably be separated and compared with The Glass Truck's proposal will be considered.
If an Eligible Competitor's Comparable Price is:

before applicable sales taxes.
If a competitor's estimate includes a legitimate publicly available discount already applied to the customer's quote, the comparison will generally be made against the competitor's final discounted comparable price.
All mandatory fees necessary for the competitor to complete the comparable project must be included when determining the competitor's Comparable Price.
Examples may include:
Optional upgrades or services not included in both proposals will not be included in the comparison.
The Guarantee does not apply to:
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing by The Glass Truck, this Guarantee applies only to residential glass replacement.
The Guarantee does not apply to:
The property must be located within The Glass Truck's then-current published service area.
The competitor must also ordinarily provide the quoted service at the subject property.
A quote issued by a business that does not actually serve the customer's property is not eligible.
The Glass Truck may reasonably verify:
Verification may be conducted using publicly available information, customer-provided documentation, or direct confirmation where appropriate and permitted.
The Glass Truck will not reject a competitor quote merely because the competitor charges less.
A quote may be rejected when the competitor, quote, specifications, scope, pricing, or required verification fails to satisfy one or more requirements contained in these Terms & Conditions.
Any competitor estimate that has been forged, materially altered, fabricated, manipulated, or misrepresented is automatically ineligible.
Submission of false information may result in termination of the Guarantee request.
The Glass Truck reserves all rights available under applicable law regarding fraudulent submissions.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information necessary to evaluate the competitor estimate.
The customer represents that any competitor quote submitted:
The Glass Truck may request reasonable supporting documentation when necessary.
Submission of a competitor estimate alone does not establish eligibility.
The Glass Truck will review the estimate and determine whether the objective requirements contained in these Terms & Conditions have been satisfied.
Once eligibility and comparability have been verified, the applicable price-beat amount will be reflected in a written proposal or revision issued by The Glass Truck.
If the customer changes the project after the price comparison is completed, including changes to:
the price comparison may be recalculated based on the revised scope.
The Guarantee applies only to portions of the project that remain comparable.
Unless The Glass Truck expressly agrees otherwise in writing, the 10% Price Beat Guarantee may not be combined with:
The customer may receive whichever eligible offer provides the greater savings.
The Guarantee has no independent cash value.
It cannot be:
The Guarantee must be requested before the customer accepts The Glass Truck's proposal, pays a deposit, authorizes custom materials, or authorizes work.
It does not apply retroactively to previously purchased or completed projects unless The Glass Truck expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Unless otherwise approved by The Glass Truck, the Guarantee applies once per project.
If several legitimate competitor estimates are submitted before the customer's purchase, The Glass Truck may evaluate the lowest eligible comparable written quote.
The Glass Truck may modify, suspend, or discontinue the 10% Price Beat Guarantee prospectively.
Any modification will not affect a properly submitted Guarantee request received before the effective date of the modification if that request otherwise satisfies the terms that were in effect when submitted.
Current terms will be published on The Glass Truck's website.
Advertisements, social-media posts, flyers, digital advertisements, and other promotional materials may summarize the Guarantee.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to contradict or materially change a clear promise made in an advertisement.
Material restrictions necessary to understand the Guarantee should also be disclosed clearly in the applicable advertisement.
The Price Beat Guarantee is independently offered by The Glass Truck.
The Glass Truck is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or associated with competitors whose estimates may be submitted under this program unless expressly stated otherwise.
Competitor business names or information appearing on submitted estimates are used only as necessary to evaluate the customer's Price Beat Guarantee request.
Competitor estimates submitted under the Guarantee may be reviewed and retained by The Glass Truck for purposes of:
Personal information will be handled in accordance with The Glass Truck's applicable privacy practices.
Customers should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information.
These Terms & Conditions are intended to establish objective requirements for determining eligibility.
The Glass Truck will not deny an otherwise eligible request simply because honoring the Guarantee results in a lower profit margin.
The Guarantee may be denied when the competitor, quote, project, product specifications, labor scope, price, or other circumstances fail to satisfy the requirements expressly described in these Terms & Conditions.
If a competitor estimate contains an obvious mathematical, typographical, or pricing error, The Glass Truck may request verification that the competitor intends to honor that price before applying the Guarantee.
If the issuing competitor confirms that the quoted amount was erroneous and will not be honored, the erroneous amount does not qualify.
These Terms & Conditions and the Guarantee are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Texas.
Nothing contained in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive or restrict any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or restricted.
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The Glass Truck's decision to make an exception in a particular situation does not waive these Terms & Conditions or require The Glass Truck to make the same exception in another situation.
Customers seeking to use the 10% Price Beat Guarantee should submit the competitor's written estimate to The Glass Truck before accepting The Glass Truck's proposal.

The existence of a lower price by itself does not require The Glass Truck to beat that price if the provider, quote, products, specifications, quantities, labor, installation scope, or other material terms are not eligible or comparable under this policy.
